ISO 9001:2000 Registration Accurate Steel Treating is nearing completion of the ISO 9001:2000 registration process. ISO 9001:2000 is an international standard, recognized throughout the world for establishing a business management system. Created by the International Organization for Standardization, ISO 9001:2000 is based on eight quality management principles: customer focus, leadership, involvement of people, process approach, a system approach to management, continual improvement, fact-based decision making, and mutually beneficial supplier relationships. As of April, 2008, we have passed the final audit from our registrar and have been recommended for certification. We expect our certificate shortly, please check back for updates.

Continuing Expansion at Accurate Steel Treating We recently initiated a major expansion of our facilities, including the purchase of adjacent land for future growth. We are installing new, state-of-the-art furnaces to substantially increase our atmospheric and vacuum throughput capacity. This new equipment allows Accurate Steel Treating to take on even more complex and demanding work. To compliment this increased capacity, we have upgraded our in-house computers with a sophisticated job tracking system and quality system to improve our response time and guarantee traceability throughout the entire process.
